The Atlantic blue marlin is the number one game fish in Key West deep sea fishing. Their bodies are streamlined, which allows for rapid swimming, and they have a two-toned appearance. The top of their bodies are bluish-black and their underside is white, which gives off a silvery appearance when sunlight is reflected from it. When stressed, they can rapidly change color. This is due to the presence of pigment-rich iridophores in their skin.
